Its been awhile

So its been two months since my last post, which is quite negligent on my part. Not to make excuses, but honestly, I've been kind of busy. I graduated from college, and I got a job. I haven't started working yet but I am excited to begin. It's amazing how many changes have occurred in my life in such a short amount of time.

I just recently bought Portal 2 and I am excited to begin playing it once it comes in the mail. I should probably play Portal 1 first though :P. I'm still horribly addicted to World of Warcraft, I've started a new character, a human mage name Mistk. She's level 45 as of this posting, but I'm hoping to have her to at least level 50 by this weekend. Well that's it for now. I will do my best to update much more regularly but with my new job starting soon I can't make to many promises. This weekend is also the Steampunk World's Faire. I have been working on my costumes for months and I am so excited to finally get to wear them. I'll post some pics some time next week hopefully. Until next time.

Con Mania

So this is going to be the year of the con. I've already been to two this year (AnimeUSA, and Zenkaikon). This summer if all goes according to plan, I will be attending AnimeNext, the Steampunk World's Fair, possibly Otakon. In the fall I may attend Comic Con NY/Nyaf. So I'll be completely broke by October. But I really can't complain, this is my last summer before the real world begins and I plan to live it up.
I finally heard back from nerdgirlpinups.com. They finally sent me my contract and I should begin plans on my first photoshoot soon. I'm thinking of going with Kaylee from Firefly as my first shoot. I'm so excited. :)

Nothing new to report

So graduation is ever inching closer and I am still basically unemployed and broke. My prospects are not looking bright at the moment. I've begun looking for jobs that would be a good fit for me but so far no one has really responded. I'm doing my best to stay optimistic but some days are harder than others.
Been to broke to buy any new games which sucks because there are so many games I would love to play. Anyone want to buy me Dragon Age 2? I'll be your best friend, pretty please?

When the runaway train comes to a stop

Things have been mellowing out and I am beginning to adjust to my new schedule. It would help if there wasn't a blizzard every other day... but eh nothings perfect. I'm starting to feel like my life is coming to a standstill with very little progress being made in most areas of my life... but graduation is around the corner in May so maybe things will begin to pickup again. All in all I'm trying to keep busy. Went out with a group of my friends last night to do some Karaoke and it was so much fun. It was exactly what I needed actually. I've in such a funk lately that I needed to just get out and let loose. I think this weekend will be full of friends and revelry. Just what the doctor ordered.

Epic Happenings

So it has begun. My final semester of college. It's odd commuting to and from school but I think I'll get used to it eventually. I am currently interviewing with two different companies, and by different I mean opposite ends of the spectrum. On the one hand we have an internship with software development company Saashr.com and on the other hand we have your basic sales associate position with Petsmart. One will lead to work experience, the other just a paycheck. Truthfully I'll happily take either. :D
World of Warcraft is still dominating a good chunk of my free time. I am trying to master Cataclysm Heroics but they are just hard. And it doesn't help when you get a Tank who just wants to storm in with 0 crowd control. I am so glad I am DPS and not a healer. I honestly think I would strangle someone if I had to heal a Cat Heroic.
All in all things are stressful yet productive. Now if it would only stop snowing every other day things would be great.

2011 Madness

There is only one day left in 2010, and I will be spending it shopping for a new laptop. I am looking forward to 2011, there are some big things ahead for me. Graduating from college being the biggest thing. I am excited and nervous for the year ahead but I know that it will be amazing. Who knows, maybe I'll land my dream job as a video game journalist? All I can say is that the sky's the limit. I think I am going to create a checklist of the things I really want to get done in 2011. For most being get my own apartment. I love my family, but I have been living on my own since 2005, and this whole moving back home for my last semester thing is really irking me. I'm ready to seize the day. Hopefully, I'll be given the chance to. See ya in 2011!

It's been awhile

So I haven't posted since the beginning of December... which is mainly due to how crazy finals got (you try taking six classes and get back to me, if you don't believe me). So in that time Cataclysm has been released and I got my gnome rogue to lvl 85! The new content is amazing. I created a warlock goblin and a worgen hunter and I am really just enjoying playing. Blizzard really knows how to create a fun experience for their fans and how to keep the material fresh.
Next semester is my last semester in college. Wow how time flies. I just hope I can find me a job to keep some monies in the bank.
